a&o Youth Hostels in Vienna

Unlike the youth hostels operated by the German Youth Hostel Association (DJH), you don’t need to be a member to stay at our a&o youth hostels. There’re no additional costs – with a&o, you only pay for your overnight stay plus any extra services you might use such as one of our activity programmes… And always at an unbeatable price! Families are always welcomed with open arms at our child-friendly a&o youth hostels: our large family rooms with soft beds provide plenty of comfort and a restful night for everyone. Take advantage of the central location of our hostels, our comfortable rooms, and low prices: set off on a relaxed tour to explore the city, admire Vienna’s magnificent cityscape and sights on a boat trip on the Danube, and experience the enchanting Viennese flair. The city centre awaits with its shopping streets such as the Kärntnerstraße and Mariahilfer Straße. With all these city sights, such as the Imperial Treasury, the Vienna MuseumsQuartier – home to many galleries and museums –, Hofburg palace, the Naschmarkt market, the Spittelberg district, the town hall, and peaceful spots in the parks or on the waterfront, it doesn’t matter which one of our youth hostels in Vienna you choose. At a&o, you don’t pay fortunes for great comfort!

Are you planning a school trip or a family holiday to Vienna? We at a&o are happy to offer some suggestion for activities to help your plan your leisure time. We also offer fully equipped meeting rooms in both of our youth hostels in Vienna, which you can use for courses, presentations, and other gatherings.

a&o will also take care of all your catering wishes: our youth hostels offer an extensive breakfast buffet in the mornings for 7 euros; children up to 6 years old get breakfast free of charge, from age 7 and up it is half price, and young adults aged 18 years and over pay the full price. For groups of 10 or more, we also offer dinner (by arrangement). If required, we can prepare packed lunches for you for 6 euros (there is a 50 cent discount for groups of 10 or more). These include a sandwich, fruit, confectionery bar, and a drink.
